Real Estate Management Services

"Good Management Doesn't Cost, It Pays!"

About Us

Real Estate Management Services (REMS) is a third generation family-owned business operation in the South Bay area of Los Angeles for over 50 years. REMS originated as a division of Loegering Construction and Loegering Management, founded in 1949 by Fred F. Loegering. We specialize in the management of income properties and resident occupied properties, ranging in size from a single family dwelling to an apartment or condominium community with hundreds of units. We also manage offices or retail properties.

We provide the same professional service for the REO/trust or owner/investor of a rental house, condominium, fourplex, or a small apartment complex as the owner receives and deserves with a larger apartment community or office property.

REMS is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California and has Certified Property Managers (CPM®) supervising our clients portfolios of residential and commercial properties.

We believe that the complexity of the real estate business today dictates to other property management companies that their expertise can only be devoted to large complexes or projects. REMS has been in the property management business for more than 50 years with the expertise to professionally manage small and large properties. We have made the commitment to make available the same expertise, integrity, and professionalism to the owners/investors of all investment property regardless of size or number of units.

We manage your income producing property with a team approach. Your investment is assigned to an operations manager who will have direct control of and be responsible for the bottom line performance over and above the normal and presumed functions of renting, leasing, collecting, and handling tenant relations.

The operations manager is responsible for all financial reporting which is then processed by accounting. Our in-house computer capability offers an additional management tool to aid in making financial decisions.

The operations manager will have the additional support of the local Certified Property Manager, CPM®. The CPM® designation is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Association of Realtors to professional property managers who have distinguished themselves in the areas of experience, education, and ethical conduct.

CPM's can best be described as versatile specialists trained to professionally handle the full range of management tasks form completing a feasibility study to supervising property. Their skills encompass the administrative, legal, social, economic, and physical areas essential to professional performance. All CPM's must have at least five years experience in an effective, full-time, decision making activity in the field of property management before becoming certified. All CPM's must abide by the code of ethics established by the Institute of Real Estate Management.

In addition, the operations manager will have the support of the local company maintenance supervisor. The maintenance supervisor along with the local CPM® will inspect and analyze your property at the time of the acquisition and periodically thereafter.
